The Buds are back, and this one is a classic tattoo family episode.
We’ve got Dreamland Art Co coworkers Goonies and Johnny Bones in the studio, and just like Goonies’ first Budcast appearance, things immediately spiral when we decide to play EDWARD 40 Hands. That choice naturally leads to vomit stories, a very necessary intervention about Goonies’ drinking, and a discussion about her Frankenstein car that honestly might need to be put down.
We break down our go-to hangover cures, Jimmy Jam relives his glory drinking days with a party trick that absolutely falls flat, and somehow Forrest Whitaker catches a few strays along the way.
The Buds also fill you in on a recent shop cutting, where we all quickly realize we would be completely useless if we were ever held hostage. To close it out, Sanae brings a Tattoo Cover Up story that sounds like it came straight out of a movie.

On today’s episode of the Tattoo Budcast, we’re joined by a very special Bud in the shop. An OG friend from Sanae’s teenage years who also tattoos, straight out of Mesa, tattoo artist Aaron Brizendine, better known as Brizzo.
We kick things off by letting AI create opposite-sex versions of the Buds and Brizzo, then asking the most important question possible: would you let yourself hit? From there, things escalate quickly as we test a Hot Ones–style hot sauceinspired by Hot Ones, and James may or may not survive the heat.
Brizzo shares stories from his tattoo apprenticeship in Japan, including learning tattoo machine building and how that experience shaped his opinions on rotary pens versus traditional machines. Once again, James may not survive.
We finish strong with a wild real-life story involving a desk pop at an old tattoo shop. Yes, a real pewpew accident. Yes, it’s exactly as unhinged as it sounds.
